we had this big math test a couple months ago and i haven't seen this movie in forever and for some reason, i had this song stuck in my head during the math test. i started humming the song and the kid next to me starts laughing and sings under his breath "all the world's ever wanted was you; a dream come true, miss piggy, it's you!" never had more fun in math

That person in the miss piggy suit at the end creeps me out, I'm not sure what it is, I'm just used to seeing her as a puppet, having the different physicality of movement that a person in a costume has compared to a puppet just is oddly nightmarish to me. I feel like they did the same thing in the opening number to muppets most wanted, although I may be misremembering that.

This scene rocks even though people of all ages enjoy seeing how Miss 🐖gy sees herself swimming with the ladies that participated as models for Lady Holiday (Nicky's sister that was played by Diana Rigg). The way I see it today reminds me a little bit of what it would be like to see myself wear a comfortable ☀👗 out to tea with plenty of women who wear the same thing I'm wearing. 👍🏻 if you formally agree!

@jbwarner8626
3 жыл бұрын
Basically, they had to carve a special puppet out of denser foam than usual so it wouldn't soak up water. The drawback was that the mouth tended to tear if Frank Oz opened it too wide, so they went through about four or five waterproof Piggys throughout the making of this scene. That was Jim Henson, coming up with wild creative ideas and then rebuilding the technology to make it happen 😁
