The only takeaway from this video is the Novus Ordo Table. Otherwise excellent.

Actually, the altar is historically accurate. Altars in the Sarum Rite of Mass, used in England up until the Reformation, tended to be free-standing and only had two candles. The Novus Ordo has borrowed this from the Sarum Rite.

@@HolyInquisition Actually, the free standing Altar has always existed both East and West and was part of the Roman Rite before it was the Sarum one, since the Sarum Rite wasn't a thing till the 10th/11th century, being created in Old Sarum and Salisbury Cathedral. Also, this Mass wouldn't have been a Sarum one, since it takes place in Canterbury Cathedral, which was home to the Benedictine monks who only celebrated the Mass according to the Roman Rite. In fact, Altars stopped being free standing in England because of the Sarum Rite, since the Reredos was an invention of the Anglo-Normans and was very Medieval. So, the Novus Ordo borrowed an old practice of the Roman Rite; the same Rite that the Sarum borrowed too.
