As if it were played on a movie to show that the nice life for the protagonist is over, that maybe some tragedy abruptly happened.

If she was in her final stages that'd mean she cared a lot about you if she still had a memory of some sort to you. People in the final stages can't even remember if they asked for cold water 5 seconds ago. And believe me i had that with the friend of my great grandmother wasn't fun seeing a old lady being confused and literally forgetting everything. edit: If you have any family that is getting older and you notice that they are slowly declining. The song, “Just another burning memory,” hits me really hard when I sit and listen to reflect for a moment. In my eyes, dementia/Alzheimer’s is a fate worse than death because I won’t remember the good times of life with friends and family. I’ve always been told to live life to the fullest and do your best, but this removes the point. It means that if you don’t do anything significant to history your family and descendants will forget you in coming years and you yourself will forget them too. If there is an afterlife, I hope memory altering conditions don’t affect what happens there.

It’s crazy that I (and many more judging by the comments I have seen) can’t remember some. But I feel like there is something that hasn’t been addressed enough. And that is how The absence of some character is extremely unsettling. For example, Foxy. We all know what him not being there means. Or another example is at 1:20 where the flying demonic creature is supposed to be. My first thought was where did it go?? Why is it gone? And why am I scared? Or another one is the machine where the anime girl had her skin removed. We all know what happened to her but just the absence is so unsettling and the music enhances that feeling. Now, if you did read the entirety of this comment, I want you to do something. I want you to go back, and rewatch the video. Then come back to this comment and comment and tell me if you agree with what I said above.

Liminal spaces. Places that usually are filled with people, portrayed as empty in the form of photography. Usually schools, playgrounds, hallways, apartments, the list goes on. Liminal spaces normally inflict a sense of hyper-awareness and fear into the viewer, especially when watched in high quantities.
