18:54 as a romanian I can tell you that a strigoi is not a vampire. It is said that when someone passes away they might turn into a strigoi, a monster from the romanian folklore who stops cows from giving milk and other bad stuff (I can’t remember right now). You can tell if a dead person turned into a strigoi if some kind of horse doesn’t want to jump over the person’s grave. You can also stop a dead person from becoming a strigoi by piercing a nail trough their heart

The wandering is a very common sign for the need for medical care assistance homes.

Sorry to hear about your grandfather. I worked in a dementia home and yes, once the symptoms become worse they need to be moved to a specialty hospital like where I worked. The whole place is locked down by keypads at every single door even the doors between units. There were three units, one being the more independent residents whose symptoms are not as bad, unit 3 being he most severe for those who have either become bedridden or who are hard to control. They need specialised care. Unfortunately the residents don't always get the best of care and family members don't see that, especially if the resident can't communicate what is happening to them or if they can, people dismiss their claims as being paranoid dementia symptoms. That's one reason I left, I couldn't change things and all I did was put a target on my own back by trying to get better treatment 😔 look out for your loved ones

Gotta admit, great show, loved watching it, was "hooked" quickly. But also gotta point out the weird plot flaws, I believe authorities would've been more quick to catch on or enact responses despite this being shown as hard to contain aspect and despite it giving a headstart. The "internet getting hacked out of commission" and some other convenient parts is a bit weird when you consider a high-tech connected society on a global scale. Makes you wonder if it was "that easy" in the end, why it wasn't done in medieval or prior times where mankind had less of a chance to fight back.
