Mission Peak is located in Fremont, Ca and is a 2,500 ft continuous elevated slope all the way up until you reach the peak. It makes for a great exercise for beginner to advanced fitness levels. There are 5 routes that lead to the peak; Hidden Valley and Peak Meadow (Horse Heaven) trails ascend the mountains western face from Stanford Ave. The Peak Trail ascends the mountains northern face and starts at Ohlone College. All three trails are about 3 miles long and takes 2-3 hours hiking up and half that time on the way down. The other two trails Sunol Regional Wilderness and Ed R. Levin County Park trails are a little longer. Sunol being 10 miles round trip and Ed R. Levin being 13 miles round trip. Both trails start just outside of Fremont in Milpitas.
