Community members gathered Tuesday night in the Sturgeon Recreation Center for a Board of Alderman meeting.
The primary topic of discussion is the shooting of a deaf and blind Shih-Tzu by a Sturgeon police officer on May 19th.
In the aftermath of the shooting, Mayor Kevin Abrahamson resigned on May 24th.
Alderman Seth Truesdell has stepped in as Mayor Pro Tem.
The Board of Alderman gave the community the floor, as they expressed their concerns with the recent incident.
