Scary nostalgia: those find the dot games, were they get smaller and smaller?. Or that clip everyone had on their phone of the car driving on the road. I ALWAYS fell for them, my friends were Dicks 😂 Sidenote: litterally yesterday I checked out the ending explained for 13 ghosts and I can't get over the amount of backstory for each ghost that you never even find out in the movie.

IDK if anyone even knows this movie, but 9 (2009) terrified me as a child. The evil robot designs were absolute nightmare fuel. Especially the "Seamstress" who had the ability to hypnotise its victims and sew them up so that they cant move. When I tell you this movie kept me up at night. I trully wish I could erase its existence from my mind.

My idea for the nostalgic seires is old video game rumors, like bigfoot in gta, button presses on the m64 to unlock master hand ect, just school yard rumors, or stories told as a child that scared you, like la llorona , or duendes ect. Either way I'll watch/watched 99 percent of videos you post and 8 out of 10 I love the videos and glad I kept watching from the tcap era.

I’d love to see him do a choose your own adventure goosebumps book- but the way I always used to (side note, massive nerd here). I would map them all out on long car rides. Like every decision, in my spiral wide rule notebook (usually with gelly roll pens lol). The question presented with a fork underneath it with my choices and the corresponding page numbers, and circle what one I’d actually pick but follow both stories until I died again until I could finally beat it. Anyone else..? 🦗🦗🦗

its interesting to hear from you a hispanic outlook on how pokemon might be a demonic influence; i was raised lutheran in a white household (obviously im white) and my mom was very religious. so religious, that in one episode of the Smurfs, there were flying plates in a castle iwth magic and my mom wouldn't let us watch the cartoon again cause "it had sorcery." not even kidding!

The Jackal from Thi13en Ghosts still fucks with me. What was creepy about the ghost bios was that they were narrated, so little dipshit kid like me could still understand them and be fucking terrified. I remember not being able to take a shower alone because my bath had window like doors and I thought the ghosts would get me because they didn't have the inscriptions on the glass .

For me, the Olympic runner who got hurt and helped to the finish line by his father would always bring instant tears to my eyes. For some reason, the lion reuniting with his human dad would also make me cry. Just an idea. Love your work!

Love that you’re doing nostalgia. How about something like super dated 90s tv commercials or how opening credits to tv series like 7th heaven, Full House, Charmed etc. were all scenes of a character and then them posing and smiling when the actors name appeared on screen - was the norm for opening credits and so cheesy 😄. Or childrens toys from the late 80s, 90s, and early 2000s that were recalled or just really messed up. Or things 90s kids parents let them do or have them to watch/play with that parents today would never do.

They're actually is an explanation for why you respond this way to things even after all this time, it has to do with the autonomic nervous system being triggered when you're scared and it programs your brain to then conjure the same response from your nervous system anytime you interact with that thing or something like it. It is something you can un program (you can unprogram most if not all trauma responses with enough time and dedication), it requires nervous system regulation techniques, basically whatever your favorite meditation is (mine is EFT/Tapping with guilded mantras) but yeah basically it's an evolutionary thing cuz if you're out in the woods and you're being chased by a threatening animal your body needs to know how to respond in that situation but if you're no longer in the woods and there's no threat around then you don't need that response right? So you need to actively work to calm yourself when you think about the threat so that you can stay level-headed in your daily goings on 🌟 hope that made sense but for anyone who it didn't feel free to ask questions, I can do my best to break it down more / in a different way if need be.

For the longest time, I thought the whole "pokemon is from the devil" was a fever dream I made up as a child. It only took me a few years ago to realize that I wasn't making that up. Like my mom (Mexican) was trying to convince me that my cute little pikachu plushie was somehow related to the devil and i CANNOT believe they really believed that! I'd love to see your reaction to 90s Australian kids tv. There's some weird stuff we grew up on, like Plasmo, a dystopian series where an alien had a vajayjay for a face, Round The Twist, which was mild supernatural and horror mixed with comedy for kids, and Lift Off, with creepy puppets. Also, The Ferals, about a bunch of feral introduced puppet animals causing havoc. Don't get me wrong, I still kind of love these shows, but showing them to my own kid, now I've realised how odd these things were.

The adhd is adhding and I love it! The last nostalgia video really hit home for me (born in 2000) and I definitely think going into this topic further, there's going to be a lot of suggestions automatically tailored to my generation as opposed GG's, just off of the simple fact that we're all adults now and finally old enough to feel that nostalgia boner properly 😂 so maybe search for nostalgia oriented videos that were Created pre-2018? If they were created before my generation started turning into adults, than they're probably tailored to the generation right above us (GG's and older). Or mayhaps searching for nostalgia targeted twords "kids born in (insert your birth year here)". Would love to see more of this series though! Maybe next we can revisit some of your nostalgic KZitem favorites! Ahh the early days of KZitem for me were (2008) filled with Smosh, college humor and music video parodies, what a time 😂

I’m pretty sure I commented about it on the original GG video, but The Exorcist girl’s face continues to mess with me to this day simply because how young I saw it. I was 5 in 2005, and grew up with older kids who were exploring the internet and whatnot. Around that time I got exposed to the scary maze game and other screamers. So, to this day that shit traumatizes me still even though the movie itself is kinda dope to me now.

It'll be cool if you went onto a rabbit hole of really obscured children's shows - like really forgotten shit that maybe only a few people watched or still remember watching. For me it was this South Park-esque show that was on abc Family called 'Three Friends and Jerry' - it was petty adult for the time especially for the channel it was on.

My childhood trauma is mostly screamer pranks like a lot of us. But, there was one episode of Beyond Belief that really scared me as a kid. It was the one with the vain woman being cursed with ugliness and freaks out about it and calls a cosmetic surgeon. Then it turns out she looks fine to everyone else but it does a reveal shot at the end where she slowly looks into a mirror and she's herself hideously disfigured. The false reassurance and buildup of the scene got me badly.

Ummm okay … this suggestion is overcast at best, but haunts me and since you are looking for suggestions, mine is: Dark Nostalgia. Specifically for me (born in 89 for context), there’s 4 forked (I know, but also we know how YT be playin) scenarios that immediately flood forward. 1. JonBenet. My mom was a subscriber to US Weekly and People, and we watched CSI and Law and Order: SVU religiously as a family. My mom was obsessed with that case. It’s the first real murder/true crime case I remember. I’m still obsessed with it. Would love to know if you have a similar case, if so then maybe what you remember off the top of your head, then a deep dive? (Pretty much that format throughout. 2. The famous CO school pew pew incident (not sure how/if YT flags any of those words). I remember distinctly that being the first time (once I heard about it) that I was afraid to go to school, then we started having drills for those incidents, and the ensuing martyrdom of the girls who passed. 3. That September day in 2001, which ended up being our yearbook cover my 7th grade year, the viral pic of it. Specifically, I remember this so vividly because they wheeled in the TV on the cart FOR US ALL TO WATCH IT LIVE. HOLY.. FFS. And my final is semi-related, but I grew up in the south and vividly remember hearing about Hell (fire and brimstone, etc.) and Revelations/end of days for the first time (our Sunday school was set up so you had to go to big church and Sunday school happened in between services) but I remember so well because I remember being so scared that my feet got cold. Then, being the avid reader that I am, I got all the Left Behind books for Christmas because I wouldn’t stop pestering my entire family (including extended fam) about the end times and what it was going to be like because I was terrified. Hopefully there’s some content there!! 😹🫣✌️
