Forest explorations including one of the most underrated problems around (and the hardest one I've done this season), also I met a very cute and friendly mouse.
In The Ghetto (natural start) - the guidebook describes this with a specific "LH on low crimp" start which given the only low crimp is below your actual arse, is pointlessly constricted and spoils the otherwise brilliant problem a bit. It's clear the point is to start right at the base of the central rib, and not higher up the slope on the LH crimp in the main break nor the RH good finger flake, so really it could just be described as "start right at the base of the central rib" as I did. Any whining pedants who want to bleat on about "You didn't tick the real problem waaah waaah", firstly I've taken a 7A- tick just for you, and secondly: suck my sweaty bawbag.
Miter Paneer (first ascent) - was looking at the Suspicious Minds stand start, but it seemed more logical to use all the good holds available out right.
Clash Of The Wood Elves - not sure if there are any prescribed rules for this one but it was too short-lived and easy to be close to it's given 7A grade. Quite nice for what looked like a cheese-grater lip traverse.
