Using a live sax in one of my songs for the first time. I consider myself to be a very proficient mixer/producer... but I've never worked with a live Sax. Your settings totally helped fit the mix! Thanks for the informative video!

Great video. I just have a "medium" home studio, lot's of keys, guitars and other rack based synths. Friend of mine is a very good sax player, and I was just looking around on KZitem to find some good and clear information about recording / mixing a sax. Well explained.

thanks for going over phase again. I done more research on it and refreshed from my music studying days with your help! Also how do you take a track and then get it into the software and seperate instrument tracks? the software has a function to take a CD or vinyl and just see it as seperate tracks? interested in the technicals here thanks alot

I started recording some of my sax covers just during the Covid shutdown, home recording with GarageBand and an Ipad. I don’t even recognize what recording system your using.

can you do more classic rock funk soul rnb tracks of 50s to late 70s and avoid lower quality fast food music such as dua liper and billie eilish types or past decades. thanks man!

Music is for all tastes. You need to change your mindset, or you won't be successful in the music business. For example, I love getting out of my comfort zone and learning to mix all kinds of music. Just an advice.
