I'd say using the stock reverb would have been more appropriate to the topic of the video since the whole concept was to use stock plugins

Thanks for the video! It helped a lot! I know is more complex, but do you perhaps have any tip to vocal layering like this?: kzitem.info/news/bejne/sHpt2Wpoe4aqbIIsi=hKTfI1GJPhUfcGe_&t=84 kzitem.info4sCPqfkByB8 A lot of japanese songs sound quite like this and I really like it but when I try it I find lots of combfiltering issues and it just doesn't sound as good. If you have any tip or tutorial for this I'd really appreciate it 🙏

damn, you made those vocals sound pretty smooth. what do you think is the most important thing a dry recording can have in order for it to be usable? im trying to record/mix some vocals, but they sound too out of place, like it's not mixing well. thanks for the video!
@WodzuBeats
Жыл бұрын
Well, the recording should have not too much of the room reverb if possible, you should record with a pop filter and find a sweet spot as far as the distance from the microphone is concerned (not too far because the voice would be really dry, but not too close so you don't have the proximity effect)

HI there, I have been watching your videos for some time and I learned alot from you. My Daw is reaper and I am not a professional musacian. Music is my hobby and I love it. Recently I have down loaded and installed Free version Middle Eastern Instrument from Taqsim/Native Instruments, I did the free version to learn and get familiar with first and then buy it. But I believe, I didn't install it properly. If I use any instrument, it doesn't last longer than five minutes and than automaticlly it turns off. Anyway, if you can help, please do so.

At first I thought that when you bypass ReaEQ, it becomes grey in Reaper. But then I realized it's your video edit move =) It's great that with a recent Reaper update you can do "Toggle delta solo" action for any FX. This may help to hear what EQ or saturation plugin are really doing. Quite a useful feature for ANY free plugins that don't even have this implemented.
