It literally feels like I grew up with Miyavi. I was just a teenager when I started to listening to him, his first albums were so free spirited and rebelious. Perfectly matched for my taste. Now when I'm almost in my 30, I love to see how he matured, how his music evolved. How we both grew up. It's an incredible feeling. He's such a valuable artist, wish he would get more recognition because he really deserves it.

Honestly, I feel the same! I also started to listen to Miyavi when I was in my early teens. I still remember his first music videos and everything, haha. It's like we all grew up together. I really value artists like him who don't stand still in their comfort zones. Other artists keep making the same kind of mucis over and over, either because they can't stand their fans saying "you changed" like it's a negative thing or because their record labels don't let them evolve. Or the then the latter makes them do only commercialized music where they eventually change to make it for the money only and strip the very soul from their sound. The thing what I really like about Miyavi, absolutely LOVE about Miyavi, is that he's always been the kind of guy who just walks along the beat of his own drum. He plays with the sound, collaborates with some unexpected people, and always makes something interesting out of it. I like how he's always experimenting, evolving, testing his limits - and he doesn't care what other people think as he does it. And that's what makes him so inspiring to me; his passion can be felt through the music he makes. It's such a sad thing to me when some people don't feel the same, doing just that what I meantioned earlier, telling him "you changed." It's like they're somehow deaf and blinded. That's what music is supposed to do. It's not something that should stay in a mold and stay in place until it grows moss. It's alive and it needs to move. And Miyavi gets it. And that's why I'm still here supporting him and listening to him even fifteen years later.

I started when I was 15 with Jibun Kakumei and then his music evolved as I grew up. Definitely something I love about Miyavi is that he is always growing as well.

I like this music video very much. It doesn’t focus on the big things but instead the small things: him losing his bike, losing his music player. In the end he receives not a huge reward, but instead another music player. These simple things are nice.

A música ultrapassa todas as fronteiras da língua...um mestre guitarrista japonês e um Rapper Afegã....mostra que não precisamos compreender ...mas sim sentir a melodia ...parabéns !!! Talento insuperável ! The music goes beyond all the borders of the language ... a master Japanese guitarist and an Afghan rapper .... shows that we do not need to understand ... but to feel the melody ... congratulations !!! Unsurpassed talent!
It's a rare thing when a song can be so beautiful to the ear and just as beautiful to the soul. Miyavi, please continue making music that matters. It's incredible how much talent you have and just when I think it can't get any better, you amaze me once again. Thanks for your heart and soul. ❤️ from ⚜️

I made up my mind today When the sun goes down its time to break When no one knows I'm wide awake I'll spread my wings and fly away I wish I had a home like you Instead, I carry my life on my back I hold it endlessly, my only companion In it are memories of war, torn photos, Pictures of my family But today, I travel alone I am leavingthe harsh nights of this city Take care of this pace, my hometown, forever in my heart When the sun goes down When the sun goes down Long Nights Long Nights Long Nights Long Nights If only I had wings to fly over the pain, Unload this heaviness from my shoulders. I want to go where it rains stars at night, Where everyone sleeps in peace, Where there is hope after the long, dark nights. I walk this road to find a home. See me reaching fot the sky. I am not a refugee. This world is home for everyone. When the sun goes down When the sun goes down Long Nights Long Nights Long Nights Long Nights Sun goes down When the sun goes down Long Nights Long Nights Long Nights Long Nights I made up my mind today When the sun goes down its time to break When no one knows I'm wide awake I'll spread my wings and fly away

I love the bridge shots of the three... To me it feels like they and their stories are connected that way. They don't stand in hopelessness, ready to jump, but they take bold steps on that bridge as well as take a rest on it, gathering strength and keeping the connection between their past and their future. Never forget where you come from but also never stop moving forward.
