The Wave Rider is so versatile and easy to run in, and the outsole grip is very good. I don’t understand why almost none of the most popular running shoe reviewers ever talk about the Wave Rider.

I'm so happy with my rider 27. Feels like running on the clouds. In the beginning i was wondering about 12 mm drop but it's not a quite problem i can say.

I’ve had 2 pairs of 27 and loved them. My 28s arrived in the same size and they are over 1 inch shorter and therefore too tight. I also found 28 midsole rock solid. Not their best ‘upgrade’ in my humble opinion

Mizuno skyrise 5 or better wave rider 28? Thanks

I wonder how new Wave Sky will behave with much more Enerzy NXT foam. I'm also curious about the heel tab going a little away from the foot which might make it more comfortable. The pricing seems a bit weird with Mizuno Neo Vista being only slightly more expensive than Wave Rider 28 at retail price. I can't wait for the comments about 12 mm drop being too high which in reality might feel a bit lower due to much softer foam under heel.

I'm loving mu Wave Sky 8 ! Imagine the softness of the heel cushioning of the 1080 v13, but with the stability of a Vomero 17 with the almost amazing bounce of the Invincible Run 3 ! The Sky 8 is now almost as fast as the Invincible 3 , weighting a bit less and more comfortable them a Gel-Nimbus 25 and NB 1080 v13. I still got my Wave Rider 27 and will replace it later this year with Rider 28 for sure. Loved this Enerzy Nxt bounce heel power from the new Sky, and the Rider 28 should be similar to the feeling and with even more stability ( and it is a neutral shoes!).

@@MiracleWarriors I've just tried Rider 28 and it's not for me. I have Rider 26 and it's fine. I feel that the shoe pushes me laterally very quickly. Midfoot and forefoot seem quite stable as the foam goes wider than the upper. The heel didn't feel right to me. I wonder how the plate looks like because it seemed to split into separate "forks"/"prongs" between heel and midfoot. Maybe next time but thanks for your impressions!
