John, I really wish you wouldn’t interrupt all these adds with Mizzou football.

Ummm...ceiling is 12-0 #1 Natty. No question. Any top 10 program is there. Sometimes it just boils down to matchups, home/away, officiating, etc. These teams tend to be very evenly matched. ALA, MIC, UGA, ORE, FSU(w/their QB), OSU, WAS, & yes Mizzou were very evenly matched last year. If you replay any of the top 10 bowl games(if FSU has their QB), they could go either way. Night game? Day game? Officiating crew? Injuries? Players have good & bad games. We should have been undefeated last year. LSU? If Mevis doesn't miss 2 chip shot fgs, we win by 10 or more. Short field for LSU instead of a kickoff. Momentum. Cook doesn't throw a pick 6 at the end trying to come back w/45 secs. UGA bad officiating, horrible. Pass interference in the endzone when no flag was thrown, ball out of the endzone, & the WR cut off his route at the 3yd line? Really? Everythings going our way this year as long as we get a fair shake at A&M & ALA. MIZ's goal is to win it all. MIZ!

If you are taking Texas and OU out of the Big 12, do you not put in Arizona and they are 4 instead of Oklahoma St.?

Yeah, you're right. Forgot about them. Point remains, but good call. Stupid new conferences!

I disagree about the kicker. Mevis missed 2 fgs against LSU, a 44yd & 55yd. That gave LSU a short field of 41yd line & MIZ 27yd line. We were moving the ball easily on both of those drives. LSU scored after both. There's a big difference between starting at the 41 & 25. Missing a fg can really impact the game.

It can, just hard to predict when that happens and if it matters that much.

@LockedOnMizzou I would say it matters in at least a few games a season. It'd be interesting to see a study on what happens after missed fgs, vs making them.
