I believe that MJX did come out with this platform and brushless system first before selling or giving the rights to Hosim to make their Hyper go BL cars. In my opinion ion both versions whether from MJX or Hosim are amazing! MJX really listened to customer feed back when they released the first brushed, friction dampened version at the end of last year, and reintroduced an oil dampened version, as well as allowing it to accept other lipo batteries. Great bash and video👍🏻💯💯🔥🔥😃

I'm not really sure. It's hard to tell here in the states. I ordered this car when it came out and it took a long while to get to me. Meanwhile I'd already received the first GPS Hyper Go and then the new one and Hosim right around the arrival of this. I'm now assuming since we have GPS and non-GPS models that this is MJX's attempt to make a dent in the surface market. I actually have a couple of BUGS flying around here. But for what those GPS cars cost they definitely should've included it on this car. It's a solid app in comparison to other surface apps. Would've been great on this car. I expect to see it soon enough. Thanks for your input!

@@redvikinghobbies you can purchase the GPS receiver, and controller + arm band separately on Amazon, Ali and bandgood. I think a lot of feedback towards the gps as being part of the whole setup like they offered earlier on was less in favor of it being included in the package in the newer models. Offering it separately for those who were interested in the concept seemed more favorable, as well as offering the 3s included option.

Cool video. I'm retired and re-living a hobby I had in the early 80s. On Friday or when I get my SS check, I'm buying one of these. I like the performance and I really like how this RC car looks. Looks good enough to put on display on a shelf, but don't worry, I'll be playing with it a lot. This will be my most "street driving" car since my other RCs are mostly off road vehicles.

I can definitely see how this one is going to be my street speed buggy with a few simple upgrades and wheel/tyre changes.

All of the MJX Hyper Gos and their other brand versions are great. I have the brushed buggy and a brushless H16BM, and they're lots of fun. Tough, but my brushless one has had to have every single drivetrain part swapped out at least once. And by the way, MJX never sold anything, other brands just buy stock and rename from MJX. They are manufactured in the same place.

Well to say they never sold anything is kinda parsing words. You can go to the Amazon site and navigate to the Hyper Go site and get to MJX or go to MJX and see the most recent lineup. Wltoys factory makes cars for a lot of companies that rebrand but you're still getting cars from that factory. But I'm literally putting up a video today for the Hyper Go 14301 (item no. H14MK) and it says MJX RC on the box. Also doing the H16BM soon and same thing. I had their drones before surface and actually if you look at the MJX video before this I did 2 MJX and a Hosim in one video and got slaughtered because both my MJX didn't work. So I bought this one, now doing the drift/rally style car, and have the basher everyone raves about. But in this new video you'll hear me say all the different sellers of their products but like a bunch of rc companies no, you can't buy direct. Although you can get some good info from them. I was able to find out I was running the V1s of their GPS models and I think it was around the 4th gen that the ratings skyrocketed. Really happy to hear you chime in because I think Jetwood has taken over this buggy for Amazon but the other companies selling it I'm not familiar with at all. The good news is most of the successful series are becoming easy to find parts for which benefits anyone buying one of their designs. Thanks so much for the comment. If you subscribe you'll get to see me fail at drifting this little thing...but man is it cool! Cheers!

@@redvikinghobbies no I meant they didn't sell the rights to produce 😅😅 my bad chief. Yeah MJX makes them and they also produce other brands' cars from the same factory (is what I was meaning to say) Love the channel brother!

Yes it does! But I was going to take it bashing at the skatepark in the end of the video and when I looked at the way it sat it looked more like a drag wheelie bar so I didn't want to catch when I tried to flip it. Turned out to be such a heavy rig ya really can't bash with it like some buggies, like a Mini-T for example which is really versatile. But it's a fun car. Someone told me the new one is much lighter so I'm gonna try that but I had to put it through its paces. Fun car. And quick. Very excited the 3s batteries are available now everywhere! A great little buggy but way too fast for its scale imo, but im getting one anyway and not planning to do jumps n stuff with it, i just wanna drive it around on my lawn and driveway so would probably have mine on 70% power full time, for its price though its a huge deal with everything one wants on a higher end rc car 👌

It's definitely a tough build and good buy! I think you'll be really happy with it. It's also being sold under the Jetwood and DeerRC labels if you need parts and shares parts with the H16BR 1/16th truck from DeeRC and Hosim and has aftermarket parts being made by GDool in case you need them. Have a blast and thanks for the comment! Cheers!

Is it still durabel

Yes it is. I recommend adjusting the shocks and I think a larger set of softer tires would extend the life of the vehicle because of the weight unless you're just going to run it in the street. In that case I'd recommend harder tires and putting the wheelie bar on. Thanks for the question!
