Hi, here from the US. Great work! I love both Mk1 and Mk2 Escort's. Everytime I'm absolutely sure I like a Mk1 more I see a video or photo of a really nice Mk2 and I'm completely confused all over again. I purchased a few 1/43 scale Minichamps and Corgi-Vanguards from the UK years ago. I'm not sure exactly why, but I fell in love with these cars. I also like Mk1, Mk2, and Mk3 (2-door) Cortina's as well. Here in the US we never saw these cars, which was a shame. From what I could gather they were well liked, especially in the UK and the Republic of Ireland (Ford NA "blessed" us with the Pinto instead). ÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷ I grew up around Ford's and an occasional MOPAR (Chrysler-Dodge-Plymouth). I've owned (5) Mustang's (all V8 GT cars), a 1967 Mercury Comet 390, a 1971 Plymouth 340 'Cuda (Barracuda), and a hodgepodge of other various Ford trucks. Sorry to be long winded. I really do appreciate the video. You do very nice work.

Another nice Mk1-Escort survived. Very nice to see. Thank you. It seems to be built in Germany once. I wonder how it comes to Wales (?) as a left-hand driver.. As an owner of a Mk1 4door 1100 L - a survivor from Italy - its always a pleasure to see that there a some more left. Here in Berlin I've never seen another one on the road.

Same here. 1974 MK1 1100L in orange. Had the passenger floor pan repaired in 1980 and I sold it for £5 in 1981, yes that's not a typo, £5! Retrospect, eh.

This was a complete re-build, but every vehicle tells a story and from our point of view its great to prolong these stories while giving the vehicle the chance to make more.
