This was a great help. I did set mine up almost the same, but I used a Cerwin Vega XED6001 amp. Plenty of thump now for me.

I strongly reccomend you don’t stack elctronics the way you did (amp and lc2i) these things are hot on their own combining them in a low ventilation area is a sure way to fry your equipment and maybe cause a trunk fire.

Heat will not be an issue. A class D amp does not produce a bunch of heat and passive dissipation is plenty with my power draw requirements. Even after a hard jam out session the amp and LC2i are barely warm to the touch.

It's fine. I just bought it for the turbo noise.

Why?

@@kiklop8362 you surrounded it with other electronics in an enclosure. Amps get hot. They need fresh air. It is slowly cooking it's insides. That's why you never see amps stacked on each other.

@@TheSkepticSkwerl There are MANY installs with amps stacked on each other!

@@TheSkepticSkwerl You do not know what you are talking about. LC2i is high low convert. It is not an amlifier.... Also it has just 300W and it is class D. There will be almost no heat. Look JL audio HD and Alpine PDX lines. They have factory stack up kits and monos are 1000W+ and they work for about 10 years now. So you are wrong iin this case

None of the power requirements will cause the amp to get that hot. I looked into that before I stacked them.
