idk how profitable Smash is for Luminosity (if it even is), but I'm so grateful that they're out here sponsoring our players and supporting our community by bringing out content like this that would be difficult to come by otherwise.

20:46 I'm glad Tea knows this and I hope everyone does, it's expensive af and Japan 99% of the time doesn't fly players out like NA/EU so the greatest barrier of entry to Japan is money. I think people seem to forget this and the logistics behind it.

The issue is n.a kept putting themselves in contention for best players no matter what trying to discredit JP. Now that they got put down like a sedated dog maybe they can learn some humbleness. No such thing as proving yourself in the weaker country. Yet they talked like jp needs to prove themselves to n.a

I felt like the video was worth my time I found it very interesting to see the perspectives of umeki and tea on smash and what they think of international players traveling to Japan. Me personally if I went to japan I would go there for most aspects but friendship is not what I’m looking for. If the two japan goats challenged me to friendlies I would accept their challange to see if I can take three stocks from both of them. I guess I would appreciate people aceepting me in Japan it’s better than having them say oh you’re not welcome here. The Japan politeness is very strange there that part of me that feels like it’s more of a dont crap where you eat mentality rather than being nice I feel like it’s kinda of forced but I understand the pragmatism behind being respectful to others. My second takeaway from the video was that you could tell the japan scene has a lot of respect for their game and I could appreciate that.
