I love baseball and I love the fans but nothing will ever piss me off more than when fans boo the pitcher for hitting the batter. It's not like they meant to hit them and most of the time, they check on the batter or look incredibly guilty. I've never understood why they boo because of an accident. They feel bad enough as it is

It’s called playing hard. Their philosophy is “make the play” and not “don’t risk it” even if said play does end up injuring them. They still do everything in their power to make that play.
@yourdigitallibrarian_story

@@BigBucks243 That being said, being able to maintain whilst making the play is important. Besides, it's just a little food for thought. Eat healthy. Workout regularly. Be mindful of how you move. Basic exercises go a long way. It just seems crazy how a lot of these injuries are preventable or could have less damage.

The one that still haunts me to this day is Kyle Farmer of the Twins getting hit in the face with a pitch. The ball basically caved his mouth in, and pinned his tongue down with his bottom teeth. He got reconstructive surgery and has been killing it at bat, but every time he goes up I think about it. Also during the Twins v. Yankee game in 2017 when the three year old got hit in the face by a 105 mile an hour ball. You never see the injury, but watching every player either praying or crying was absolutely heartbreaking.
