@Logical Extreme "cardiac arrest" does not equal "heart attack". A heart attack (myocardial infarction) is a particular heart condition or event which can cause cardiac arrest however there are numerous causes of cardiac arrest (e.g. blood loss, chemical imbalances in the blood, multiple disease processes). You make a decent point. But the sidebars are necessary. The lawyers must be able to argue out of the earshot of the jury. This is so the judge can make the proper decision on what will or will not be allowed. Evidence has to be legal, so making possibly impermissible arguments where the jury can hear, will confuse their understanding of what they are and are not allowed to consider in their deliberations. So, they hash out the disputes in sidebars, the judge decides, and the jury only hears the evidence that is allowed.

Cardiac arrests are very dynamic and busy calls, with a lot of time sensitive procedures to be done. History taking can be incomplete at the best of times, much less when there are so many people with so many perspectives there. This is admittedly a large omission, but I see how it could get lost in the chaos. The paramedics may have simply asked the officer who was standing closest to them at the time, who arrived as backup and had no idea about any suspicion of drugs.

@@biloz2988 you pass the boards before you enter residency lmfao. And yeah he said he was an ED trained physician, that’s the “type” of resident he was when this occurred. Residents are still doctors with board certification. You calling him a “junior ED doc” in an attempt to try to demean him and make him seem less credible isn’t working

19:03.....Sodium bicarbonate is "baking soda", but the Dr. referred to it as "a medication".... Why didn't he jus use layman terms in his explanation??? Just wondering. 🤔

This inexperienced and unseasoned junior dr made an assumption attractive to the prosecution that death happened as a result of asphyxia instead of saying it may have happened from asphyxia but respiratory depression could well hv caused it. It remains unexplained as why george remained unmoved before he died, meaning no seizures which happen with hypoxia. The court should look at this major missing event. Anybody suffocating shakes violently but not george, and it seems he was heavily doped that his brain was silenced before lack of oxygen took its toll.

With the hospital testimony, regarding asphyxiation now being debunked by the Chief of Police, one can only come to one conclusion regarding the reason for his death. The officers still failed to try to render aid and I believe that they had 4 minutes to go from wrestling a monster to chest compressions. Indeed they would have been heroes if they pulled this off. This whole thing caught them off guard. how many people are heroes.

With what's in Floyd's toxicology report compressions would have done next to nothing, he needed Narcan or Naloxone. With out either to counter act the drugs it would have done little for him.

Wrestling a monster? What the f*** are you talking about? The video looks like he's having a panic attack.
