Thank you for this cover of Bill Withers' tribute to his grandmother. Mr. Moore, it was about 1996 when I first had the pleasure of hearing you perform your music solo. You had recently wrapped work on a play in Hartford CT. Your performance was on a middle or high school stage in Wilbraham MA. The man who introduced you sounded as if he might've worked with you on the play. He seemed clearly impressed with your talent. I quickly understood why after hearing your songs (Angelina, among others). Immediately following the concert, my companion & I bought your self titled CD. In the years since then, it's been played so much, that it's time to replace the disc. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with the world!

The producers for Blackstreet's "No Diggity" did borrow/credit the guitar riff to Bill Withers' "Grandma's Hands."

Also, I remember seeing Mr. Keb Mo perform "More Than One Way Home" at an outside concert in Colorado, and when he finished the line, "...Wastin' time with Otis, out on the dock of the bay," he riffed right into, "Sittin' on the dock of the bay, watchin' the tide, roll away; Sittin' on the dock of the bay, wastin' time..." And he definitely did "bring it."
