It came out of a heart-felt and righteous idea, we are all part of a greater unity than just ourselves.

Yeah, a friend and I saw these guys at the Quaker City Rock Festival, Philadelphia Spectrum, 10/19'1968. What a gig! The lineup: Janis Joplin Big Brother & the Holding C., Moby Grape, Vanilla Fudge, The Chambers Brothers (Time!), and Buddy Guy Blues Band. Whoa, I came out of there as a changed musician person.

@@A_Pa-Plainjane 2020 wasn't as bad as people claim it was.... but how and in what way is it close to 1968? People were out of touch with reality than they ever were before.

@@thedillestweed2644 or maybe the opposite: people were very engaged with reality, marching and demonstrating in the streets, for issues that were important to them. I just do not recall any other year quite as rambunctious as 2020, except for 1968.

What the fuck are you talking about?!?!? The lyrics not only clearly mention how the TV dinner was created in Omaha by Carl A. Swanson but also go on to mention Omaha hosting the World’s Fair in 1898, the creation of cake mix by Duncan Hines, the introduction of pink hair curlers and the development of the worlds first ski lift by Union Pacific Corp!!! You, sir (or madam), need to get your facts straight before spreading your false fascist ideals upon an unsuspecting and easily convincing public! …and also Butter Brickle ice cream!!!!
