Im not sure how popular this opinion will be but as funny as Frankie and Russell are I like the show more without them, the vibe is much more relaxed, its actualy conversational rather than everyone dragging the conversation to a loose connection to a bit from their stand up routine, Hugh and Dara get to talk without being constantly inturrupted, you actually get to hear from the guests I like it

It's more of Frankie being gone and not egging a young Russell on all the time! Both are great comedians in their own right and Russell has really matured and is now very outspoken about injustices! Those were early days and you're right, Frankie took a lot of time away from others and supposedly that's one of the reasons he's no longer there. Personally, I suspect more of the complaints and offensive comments he made did that. lol

I really don't get people who are on season 11 shows talking about Frankie leaving. He left at the start of season 8, get the fuck over it. If you don't find the show funny anymore, then stop watching it, and shut up. Whining about him leaving, 4 series after the fact is pointless, and shows that you can't just get over it, and watch it on it's own. You're too busy comparing everything to when Frankie was on. The show became different when he left. It did not become worse. Get out of the past, and enjoy the comedians for fuck's sake.

Well, then, the Eurasian Elk is actually the same species as the animal known as the Moose in North America. The animal known as an Elk in North America is a very large member of the Deer family. This animal has a considerably larger set of antlers than a whitetail deer, but it is similar in the shape of the tines, unlike the Moose. It was improperly named Elk by immigrant/explorers who thought it looked similar to the Eurasian Elk.

Is it an elk? Is it a moose? If you’re in Sweden, the answer is “BOTH”! The iconic, majestic forest dweller Alces alces is known as a moose in North America (actually the sub-species Alces alces americana) and an elk in Europe. The word elk, like the Swedish word älg (pronounced /elj/), is taken from the Latin alces. To make matters even more confusing, elk in North America is used for an entirely different animal - a kind of deer, Cervus elaphus, otherwise known as a Wapiti,

In North America, moose and elk are two different things. Moose have more 'too big for their heads' faces, wide flat antlers, dewlaps (sort of a beardy-thing) and are bigger, darker, and more long-lived than elk. Elk faces have more deer-like snouts and are nowhere near as bold as moose. Believe me, if you come across a moose, you won't mistake it for an elk here.
@janeeyre1990

Thor214 explained in a comment posted nine years ago that the Eurasian elk is the same species as the North American moose. However, the North American elk is a different species. Travelers/settlers from Europe named the North American elk when they came over here because they thought it looked like a Eurasian elk / moose. Even though they're really different species. Kind of like how the North American robin isn't really a robin at all, like the European robin. It is a type of thrush.

The North American Moose and the Eurasian Elk are the same animal. The word Moose comes from the Algonquian language. The North American Elk (sometimes called a Wapiti) was either misidentified as a Eurasian Elk or at least belonging to the same family, since settlers from the British Isles most likely had never seen a Eurasian Elk, but had basic descriptions of what they looked like.
