Always have to start these older episodes figuring out, who’s in charge where, which countries are still talking to each other. And most importantly, how close, or how fare down the road to oblivion are we.

I was at a pub quiz in the nineties and the question was, "Who is the biggest hotel owner in Britain?" I guessed the Italian guy, I can't remember his name. No, it was the Official Receiver.

I only discovered recently that he's married to Sarah Millican. That makes his remark at the start about the gingerbread men extra funny.

@@boahnation9932 Northern Ireland had a history of violent sectarian conflict between the Unionists (Protestants who agree with Northern Ireland being part of the UK) and Loyalists (Roman Catholics who want Irish independence) The Orange Order are strongly linked to Unionism, so Miles's quip about orange-coloured water being regarded as antagonistic if used to break up a riot points to Loyalists getting upset (to put it mildly) if they were sprayed with orange!
