To give the blaster a more solid feel. Bare plastic is weak, the bondo makes it more solid. Also, it absorbs vibration to make operation a bit more smooth.

It's better to sand, but you can use it without sanding just fine. I will be making an updated painting tutorial in the next month.

I did not use wood for my priming grip. It's all 1/4" polycarbonate. My templates are now public on my website. I'll be making an video overview on the grip alone in a few days.

There was a segment in the video showing the orientation of the switch. The plunger rod moves back and turns the switch on. Then, when the blaster is fired, the plunger rob moves forward and releases the switch so the LED turns off.

Polycarbonate isn't available at the local Hardware chains. I get it from a local plastic shop or on eBay from plastic companies. I ran two bolts through the Longshot that also go through the grip in order to balance it.

Those are the exact templates that I used. I changed some colors, but I didn't physically resize or more anything before I uploaded them. I'm making a video on the grip alone - you may just want to wait for that to clear things up.

The word discontinued does not refer to the distribution of the blaster, it refers to the manufacturing of the blasters. Longshots are, in fact, discontinued. They may still be distributed there, but they are no longer being manufactured.

15 seconds on Google can answer your question... It's a gap filler for automobiles and other projects used in this project to kill vibration and make the shell more solid.

There is still a way to mechanically fasten the Maverick by the priming handle. Although, I wouldn't recommend that orientation. In my experience, the Maverick moves (wobbles) far too much if only attached by the priming handle.

Boltsled reinforcements are never actually needed, I've never broken a boltsled and I've modified over 50 Longshots. It's only a K25 spring, too. Grey vinyl dye. Citedel blue and black brush paint

@Kyle johnston this is because the way we mod them will require maintenance afterwards to ensure nothing wears or breaks thats why nerf has air restrictors. Also if they used heavy springs the draw would be too hard for kids.

Thanks! And the template is for the entire grip correct? And its life size so i can just apply the template to a sheet of large enough 1/4" polycarb and cut it out and tap the holes and put it on my blaster? And did you super glue some of the pieces together? Sorry for the relatively bad grammar and all the questions Should i just wait until you post the video about the grip itself? BTW are you still doing a video about that LS you did the brass breech on most recently?
