Thank you for your help. It made it a lot easier installing the Bw 1111 gooseneck hitch with your video. God bless you.

Great video. I put a 2x4 across the top of the bed rails, hooked a ratchet strap to it and the other end to the center section to pull it up against the bottom of the bed. Worked like a dream!

Great video. I installed my 1111 today after watching this a couple of times and referencing the included instructions. When installing my rear crossmember, I actually had to get a block of wood and a jack to push the crossmember up against the underside of the bed enough to clear the shock mount. Then I used a dead blow hammer to drive it in from the driver's side. Once the notches were in line with the frame, it was all good. Make your life easier and definitely have some sort of a lifting device for the center section. My truck also has plastic wheel wells. I had to remove the one on the driver's side (4 screws), but I left the one on the passenger side. After the hitch was installed, I also had to cut an opening in the plastic to be able to access the release handle. No big deal. I used a pair of tin snips, and they did a nice job. Thanks for the video!

Sitting in a garage currently trying to install this 1111 hitch on my 2015 f250 gas truck. We cannot for the life of us get the rails into place. We have cut the notch, made it bigger, nothing is working. Looking like the bed is gonna have to come off. So disappointed.

@@lParohlx no i don’t believe it is. had a bed slide in it that i took out last fall. can’t imagine anything could have gotten to the bed to cause damage.

@@harleighlehman1702 We checked with our install specialists for some tips and they mentioned that there's a chance that the bed has sagged, which is something they've found is unfortunately pretty common with the older Ford models. Their suggestion would be to just loosen the bed bolts to make room for the crossmembers to slide in, then tighten them back up. This way, you don't have to remove the entire bed, which can actually complicate the install. For any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly. @@BWTrailerHitches it’s a 2015, 9 years old. guess that’s an older ford these days? already planning on removing bed bolts. we will have to cut them out and replace them all. but cannot do that until later in the year as this truck hauls horses every weekend.

B&W must have changed torque specifications since the making of this video. 110#s on the smaller bolts, 200#s on the 3/4 inch bolts.

Was going to get the pull right super glide for my short bed 2011 F350 however, the B &W slider looks beefier. Only concern is inconvenience with the manual slider. Some say I don't need a slider. Thoughts?

wish these hitches came with better paint. mine all turned to rust in a year. its the only rust on the truck so its pretty annoying.

I had mine sand blasted and then powered coated. Looks great and has lasted for 4 years now.

Crappy video. With the bed on, there is no way to see where the notches go and what they do. I don't have a bed on the truck, so I don't have the bed supports as a guide. The instructions are no better.
