The secret ingredient to a classic Chelada is a red chili, lime salt called Tagin. This is the stuff that is used to dust the rim and is what gives the salty component. Chilly heads like me sprinkle it on corn melons and any other fruit.

Yes... I have used Tajin before, although I'm not a huge fan, I prefer putting straight pepper powder on such things! Have you tried the Habanero Tajin? I'd give that one a shot, but I haven't been able to find it!
