Correct on all counts. I have a finely tuned radar for rating instructors. Scott is at the top of that list.

Glad to see you taking quality classes. Scott has learned alot of this stuff from Sean Griffith, Nick Young, Ben Stoeger, and Matt Pranka. I highly suggest taking some classes from those dudes as well if you're looking to improve your shooting performance. Practical shooting and training is the future. Practical is Tactical.

@@Tier1Citizen Yeah, Scott is a good dude. Just saying if you want to further deep dive into the practical shooting world, there are many other GREAT instructors. Give them all a shot. I bet you will learn a lot. I know I have. My shooting in the past 2yrs has SKYROCKETED because i've been applying a practical approach vs the old school tactical BS. Also check out the books Practical Shooting by Ben Stoeger and Joel Park. And Adaptive Rifle by Ben Stoeger, Joel Park and Matt Pranka.

Sorry I didn't elaborate on my comment. Yes, I intend on training with others. I believe Gabe White is on my agenda for this year.

It looks like the exercises were all practical shooting based. 😉Though I'm sure the other days focused more on defensive techniques. It's amazing how much vision plays a roll in body mechanics. I have a background in racing, so I definitely understand "where you look" will determine "where you go." Anyway, glad you enjoyed the class. Look forward to more!

Thank you for attending this class and sharing. Is modern samurai really all that I believe it to be?

Yes, it is. Scott is one of best instructors I've ever trained with. His lack of having come up in the world of LE/MIL makes him well suited for cutting through the BS.

@@kennethhart5393 I am an A class shooter in USPSA, I took this class mid July thinking I would not really gain that much info let alone really improve. I was way wrong. I learned more in 3 days than in the last 2.5 years I have been shooting. That includes watching his videos on youtube. I would highly encourage you to take his class. It was 100% worth the time and money spent

@@bradeystrunk3823 thank you for your input. Being a B~ shooter myself (sorry but I am a professional smart ass and the door was open) I’ve been interested in the class. With my schedule (I’ve slept in my own bed just two nights so far this year) it is hard to sign up for a class a month out. Anyhow, again thanks… I think I will just have to work it out somehow.
