Dan Galucci honestly deserves credit, too - people always say in the early days they were a trio but even in a lot of the early videos you'll see Dan off to the side, just out of frame so there's only a few frames of him - but there nonetheless. He's there at the famous Mercury Theater gig. He came up with some of their most notable riffs and progressions and when he left Isaac himself said how it felt like they were losing an integral part of the band - it was thanks to Dan that Isaac had room to do a lot of his improvisational stuff and experiment, so I honestly think he deserves credit.

@@fuzzydunlop7928 you're right and Dan was a much appreciated musical mind+presence in the day. I'll always be indebted for his work on LCW in particular. It might be more accurate to say i miss this ethos...though it was a killer sound

@@fishfur9530 I'm pretty sure he co-wrote bankrupt on selling with Isaac and appeared on all tracks for Good News. He also wrote the chord progression for The World at Large which would later also be used for Float On. However, the fourth person on stage in this video is not Dann as he would've already been heavily tattooed at this point.

This is the MM I remember. I watched the power trio in 1999 at a bingo hall in Dundalk, MD at Sheerwest Gardens. They were right on the dirty carpet with the rest of us. While the Shins opened (never heard of at that point) we pounded beers in the parking lot and watched Isaac Brock come out of their famed road van by himself, we said our hello's, gave him a beer and watched him walk inside. Miss those days.
