I saw this movie in 1966 when I was twelve years old. I walked out of the theatre painfully smitten by Monica Vitti. I've had a thing about Italian women ever since. The futuristic setting in the introductory scene captured my imagination too. What astounds me is that technology has advanced so quickly that the amount of computer processing power in her five refrigerator-size computers is in your cell phone.

Absolutely love this Title song .. and credits .. So Iconic! Monica Vitti was so beautiful and Garvin (Terence Stamp) was so coool. Dirk Bogarde's character was brilliant and hilarious, crying for champagne in the desert! Quirky 60's stuff and silliness in there but lots to like too. 1966 🌼

The miniature building collapsing at the end reminds me of the similar scenes in "Gorgo". I always have liked this theme song.
