Simply asian ramen broth is fantastic for pot roast and beef stew it has ginger lemon grass garlic and soy sauce already added oddly i never used it for ramen only for stew and pot roast

Yeah there's a ton of salt in three packets of gravy mix. I think the only one that works the best is French's onion soup or another type of onion soup I think knorr makes a good one too

Chuck roast has been pretty cheap lately, at least where I live. Can grab one about that size for $10 to $15 at Winn-Dixie (they're usually on sale on weekends) and it makes multiple meals. Very cost efficient.

I'm sure this is good, but after 30 yrs of making pot roast I tried his other Mississippi pot roast. It is our go to roast. I make it once a month every month. Only thing I changed is I do half a jar of pepperoncini cause I don't want it as hot. Last time I doubled it and then on day two I made a big pot of vegetable soup. Just started some veggies and after an hr dumped all of our leftovers in. Best veggie soup I've made.
