I will never rent from Avis in the future and I will make it my mission to discourage anyone else from doing the same. I held a reservation with you for only 24 hours and was charged $50 upon cancelation. A fee that was buried in fine print (or so I was told) during the reservation process. This fee is more than the principal cost of the rental. If this was an airline, one of the most inflexible entities in business and customer service, I would have received a full refund. To add insult to injury, when I contacted your customer service department, I felt like I was being passed around to a bunch of high college students who couldn't remember their own names. I have received better service from a hot dog vendor.

Just saw similar too (when I tried to book, and thought initially my card had been declined but then saw an email it did go through). Going to try to call the customer service in the morning to see what my options are.
