Dude these tips are awesome, I'm definitely going to have to put a ticker on some bucktails for the coming year. Have you ever done a ticker on a double or does it throw off the bait too much?

Thanks man! It's possible on double blades however it can be a lot more messing around to get the bait to run consistently.

@5:30 you talk about converting to a single blade on a long shaft bait, have you noticed this is different depending on the thickness of the blade?

That is an awesome question! I have noticed that the heavier blades don't seem to start quite as easily as the lighter blades, however, once they are rolling they give off a LOT of thump.

That's why I started building my own Musky Pike inlines and I just ordered some blades and bodies and I'm definitely trying that ticker idea.

You can be super fancy and go the cotter pin route as well
