Being a housewife is not just about cooking or cleaning. Being a housewife means your home is your company where you have to manage Finance, Responsibility and learn good management skill and social skill and have a lot of patience. It is a very hefty task and it takes some real guts to be a good housewife. A good Muslim husband will always acknowledge that and appreciate that to his wife. I make my own breakfast so even after I get married InshaAllah after my University I will still make my own breakfast and coffee and for my wife too not because she won't do it but because I love to make my breakfast as I have been making because I workout in the gym and have been since 6 years. Getting married is not just being husband and wife it is being an understanding couple, a 2 person team, real close friends. Why a Husband or a wife should be real close friends because that way you both can share things that you won't feel comfy sharing it to a not so open heart spouse. Lastly, Marriage requires a lot of patience. My plan is, Whichever niqabi Allah (swt) has decided for me, I do not know, but when I get engaged to her InshaAllah, I will ask her to watch the Fiqh of Marriage course with me on Huda Tv it is completely free so that she knows her rights as a wife in Islam and she knows that I can not misuse her or disrespect her honor or use her like a door mat and she knows that she doesn't do that either to me and be a Feminist. It is a beautiful course and really important for a healthy marriage InshaAllah. From this brother in Islam, just know sister that being a housewife is a very respectable and honorable job and the women who think it is not or insulting are fooled by corporates who want worker ants and not happy families in the society.

Man starts earning a decent wage: "I can support my family now". Woman starts earning a decent wage: "I don't need a man". (Copied comment) That's why Allah says in the Quran 4:34 Men are the caretakers of women, as men have been provisioned by Allah over women and tasked with supporting them financially. And righteous women are devoutly obedient and, when alone, protective of what Allah has entrusted them with. And if you sense ill-conduct from your women, advise them ˹first˺, ˹if they persist,˺ do not share their beds, ˹but if they still persist,˺ then discipline them ˹gently˺. Dad respects my mom for being submissive. And know her place... so he feels that he shall protect her wife. When they were mad or fighting, my mom kept silence and when they calmed down....mom will talk carefully. Mom left her business to take care of their 5 children. That asked her to focus for us and she obeyed him. Dad provided everything we need. He didn't spoil us, he gave us what's needed. He taught us about economics and the world. I am a man so on behalf of men I will say this. First of all my faults. I was afraid of getting married. It's scary it's unknown it takes away my freedom and the way of life that I was accustomed to. But my wife alhamdulillah she was very kind very gentle very compassionate very caring very feminine also hard working and realistic. She had all the qualities a man could want in a woman. So fearing I'd fall into sin and she was pressuring me into getting married I decided mostly for the sake of Allah to marry her. Wallahi I did love her but had I not believed that zina was a major sin I wouldn't have done it. And what made me sometimes be unsure if I want to get married or not? Well you see a girl she's inappropriately dressed but you see this new beautiful woman in front of you and you're like "maybe I could wait a bit longer and "explore" a bit more". Here's my opinion. If girls and women covered themselves as islam commands we would all be happier and if males and females were separated in schools I believe males would do way way better. That's my opinion.

Pray istikhara a lot while looking and have trust in Allah that He will protect you and bless you with what's best. After that just be as practical as possible and take no stress or worry in the matter... Most people are dating the opposite gender for years and don't really know the true character of the person until they get married. And even more of those people are not getting married at the end of it but instead ending up with heart breaks, depression, and trauma because of loss of trust and the falling apart of the relationship in an unprotected no-contract/no-nikah, loose relationship. And really, the biggest problem is us choosing to ignore Allah in all this. No wonder our hearts get trapped and over-attached to the creation. That is the recipe for disaster in all relationships, not just marriage...many non-Muslims are unmarried with children from multiple partners, unhappy, and struggling so much. Wrong. Men n Women r both accountable for their sins. Men being leaders doesn't mean they r responsible for da sins of their wives. A womam can disobey her husband's guidance out of free will. So, guiding the wife all the time doesn't work if her iman is not strong enough. Taking away accountibility from ppl for their sins or other flaws will mk those sins n flaws being belittled. Also ur comment mks it look like women are weaker in faith than men, which is wrong. Don't be that guy who blames a man for his wife's cheating instead of comforting him. In case of divorce both men n women hv problems. Are u gonna say Nuh as n Lut as were not true patriachs? Lut as couldn't convince his wife. And Nuh as, his son.

Nearly two hundred years since the first survey given, a 2017 study by the National center for health statistics quoted similar number with 69% of women wanting to call quits on the marriage. This is partly true, but the problem is that women have been given choices now, a way out if she does not like her husband being a man every once in a while putting his foot down. The perception of a women is different as well now, if a man is slightly masculen and bossy she sees this as oppression and because the system gives her a way out ( social help or being able to work and make money) she ends the marriage. So what I have seen happen to men in the West is they become more feminine because the women has more power and is willing to end the relationship which in itself has dire consequences.

i think the major part of the problem isn't between men and women but rather governmental marriage laws. if there were good governmental marriage laws men would feel much more confident in marrying, if they end up marrying a bad wife then can just divorce her and that's it and things wouldn't be too bad and he can still look for a wife and get married again. but the reality of things is that because of the shitty marital laws men are too scared to get married as getting a bad wife for many means getting trapped into a horrible marriage and even a more horrible divorce, so they are trapped in that marriage as low of satisfaction they have in the marriage they really can't leave without losing their kids and even more of their wealth. on the opposite side, feminist women are hiding underneath the cloths of pious women so men can't tell who is who which makes things an even bigger gamble. so even if you do chose to marry it's an equal gamble between her being a good pious wife vs a feminist wife, actually i would say you are more likely to marry the feminist wife as she is much more active in the groups of women so her name will be more up, plus she will tend to be more out and about so if you meet her from work or college and so on, the percentage of feminists among them is much higher than the actual pious women. and ultimately the ones that get affected by this the most is the pious women, who might not get married even they check all the boxes with flying colors which puts more pressure on them into the haram. my advice to the pious sisters is tell your parents that you are ready for marriage, around your friends if the topic of marriage comes up do say that you do think about getting married and is open to it. tell your parents (if you are in the west) to tell the local big mosque or Islamic center that they have a daughter ready to get married otherwise how will men know that you want to get married, men can't know the unknown my sisters. finally never go to these "muslim" dating apps unless the app is on your father's phone and most of the direct messages goes to be between the guy and your father until he vets him good enough and then the guy can come over if he is near so you guys can talk or if he is far away then through a zoom call. even then some apps are better than other muzz match is basically for hookups and clearly is made to corrupt those muslims that are more practicing

Why take the risk?" "I'm too busy to work, I can keep all my times for me" "Marriage will control you. Husband & his parents will judge you, told you to do this & that, it's hell" "I fear that have kids will make me stay at home, my body will be ruined." "Have kids Actually a risky for your body. Why do I want to take it?" " (Focus on 'Woman Empowerment' as "Independent Woman don't need to Married" & how they have High Standard of a Man that they want someone that successful but don't want to get beaten in career) It's all over through : 1) TV shows, Movies, Music Videos, Cartoons, Anime, Songs 2) Novel, Fanfiction, Comic, Game Ads 3) KPOP (especially Korean have gender wars and so many young generation there 10-30 addicted to Modern stuffs, Branded stuffs, Western Culture. She has her reasons why she wants education and I'm not even against it but honestly, women these days are kinda crazy or something.
