they actually make you believe for a second that it's not that goofy though in that one. The dive bar scenery actually makes sense. Doing road house in the florida keys made absolutely no fucking sense to me. UFC makes more sense than kung fu, but the fact that Gyllenhaal's character is a famous athlete is a bit crazy in terms of the "mystery aspect" of the character. Like everyone should know who you are dude. People don't casually forget when an athlete dies in the middle of their sport. It's typically national news. It kind of takes the punch out of "I did some digging on you"/ "I read your file" like wtf do you mean? You mean one simple google search? I think the one part in the original that makes me laugh in retrospect was ripping the not-so-closet gay guy's throat out and then pounding his monkey chest at the corpo overlord on the other side of the lake that was just casually watching.

Literally stumbled onto this movie too the other night when my mom came to visit. We actually really enjoyed it. It made very little sense towards the end but very fun and entertaining the entire run time. There are also a ton a really nice shirts in this film. Some really complicated patterns on some of them.

My favorite line from the movies was when Connor's character said to Jake's character, when they were alone on this boat and Connor just want to fight Jake. Connor: "Finally, our own little octagon..." Jake: "What? Who taught you shapes?"

That's because of McGregor. As much as he is one of the most, if not the most, famous mixed martial artists currently on the planet, he is also one of the most universally hated personalities out there. And for good reasons too. Your man is literally a part-time criminal, and the list of assaults includes assaulting a senior in his own pub, not to mention rape allegations. I would say Conor's fan base is about 10% fans and 90% haters.

3 pass shots , glyenhal mentioned it on Seth. On shot of the punch and react like normal holly wood a full speed shot of the fist hitting a bag on (probably green) to get impact on the arm and a final shot in slo-mo of the actors making contact fully but slow , the actors move in slo-mo not the camera . Composite the 3 shots together, Bob's your uncle .
