Not sure how I missed this video but so happy I caught it now... I’m just starting it, so I’ll add to the comment in a bit! Add-on: beautiful bars! Can’t wait until they’re stamped!

Haven't done this before but maybe put the skillet on the hotplate first and put your molds on top of it. After the molds warm up do your pours and then just move the skillet off the hot plate to quench the bars.
@PlugMasterFord

I tried that at first, but the skillet has a slight bow to it and it caused the pours to be uneven.

This is something I want to do to. Not just with silver or copper but with all the aluminum cans, pull tabs I find. Basically convert them into 1 or 2 ounce rounds with my name and bury them in places I've searched. You know, leave something for the next guy 😂

Interesting! I’ve been watching a channel where the guy is pouring lead into moulds and it usually takes some trial and error to get it right. Hope Mike is starting to feel better. Take Care & Happy Holidays🎄❄️😊

I would think so. Would be afraid to lose some material though, because I would think it would require some sanding.

Jeff I love you and Mikes videos and hope he gets well soon. I need to ask one simple question WHY? WHY? WHY? The costly equipment, electricity to run it and your time. Bulk silver is bulk silver no matter if its a round or bar.
