My Grandpa always wanted a son but ended up with 8 beautiful women. As hard as it is to believe all my aunt's that did have kids only had daughters! 😅 So when I was born my Grandpa BEGGED my mom to name me "Pete" after him.. She did so and he cherished me. Although he was a EXTREMELY quiet and stern man I knew he loved me deeply. He passed away of bowel cancer in 2012 and I still miss him dearly🥺😢❤️🤧😌

Lol my family has a rule. If at first you don't succeed! Try, try again! By the 3rd time if you don't succeed... adopt! My great grandmother had 3 girls, grandma had 3 girls and adopted a baby boy! 😂 great grandpa wanted a red headed child. My mom was his favorite and even though he had passed away, she gave home 1 and 1/2 red heads. My brother was a red head, I'm blond with some red under tones!

I lost my mother when she was only 39 and by the same cause. As a now 34 year old man, this immediately triggers me to cry. I can not hold back. I know those eyes of hers, a look that's full of pain but a newfound appreciation for every little thing in life that was perhaps once taken for granted. I cannot express the hope I have for this woman. What a kind and loving soul and what a beautiful woman. Thank you for sharing.

I feel you man i lost mine when she was 29 i was 5 im 32 and to this day sometimes i cry yeah i do because i never knew and never will know a mothers love . Thats why i get mad for people disrespecting their mothers it boils me because they have no idea how lucky they are to have their parents. I lost my old man when i was 29 his lessons are still like a script memorised in my head i get all emotional when i hear certain songs . Lost my mom to breast cancer and my old man to diabetes he was only 54 but god had other plaans i was just happy he wasnt suffering and in agony anymore dyalisis tho it keeps you alive will drain you very similar to chemo . You have to always eat . But when the county took us she lost the will to fight the cancer and died of a broken heart . Autopsy stated cardiac arrest . Cancer still wasnt eating her she could have beat it but what was the point when she came home and saw her babies where no longer there

All the strength and love to this wonderful woman. Make sure you show your loved ones how much you love them every day. -------------------- I don’t remember my mom’s voice. It’s about to be 10years since she parted. I see her in every shaved head. I see her in every cancer patient. In every in smile that someone battling cancer still manages to show. And that is somehow beautiful to me. Whenever I see these type of things not only do I feel instantly empathetic and supportive, but I also feel immediate respect and love. Because I saw the whole process up close. I saw my mom get home tired after her quemos. I saw my mom wipe her tears away when I would unexpectedly walk into where she was. I saw her watery eyes every visit day at the hospital when it was time for me to go. I saw her smiling and looking at me that last time I said my goodbies walking out of the hospital room not knowing it would be the last time I would see those pretty eyes. I never cried in front of anyone. I seemed so normal about it. But it was only because everyone else around me was sad enough and I needed to be there, as young as I was , for everyone. I didn’t wanted anyone worrying about me. But now that I am grown I cry on my own almost every day. Missing her. Now I understand why she would cry silently on her own and I just want to go back for 2 seconds to hug her, smile and say “We’ll be ok mommy” Please, take this as an invite to hug your mom if you have her with you. For me. Give her all the love and all the kisses you can. Yes they can annoy us sometimes hahahha and that’s ok. But man, there is not one thing I wouldn’t give away to even just listen to her laughter one more time. I had her just for 13 years. Please share any story that u feel like sharing. I would love to read it.
