I will tell you, crushing a little up in some Haagen Dazs Vanilla Bean ice cream is to die for! Our daughter usually sends us See’s Peanut Brittle in the mail. But I love it even if it’s not the holidays. I am going to try this. It looks delicious. Thank you!!!

Many Tins can be found at your local Thrift Stores. They usually have many to choose from really cheap ! 😃

I make it often for my family, plus I make Cashew brittle. Yummy😊 I have a special pot just for making brittle, but, it is not the old Copper pot they use to make it with. I have a Copper pot lined with Stainless insides. It works well for maintaining the heat and the brittle pourable since I’m slow at pouring it. 😂

I make this all the time, my tip too everyone. Make sure you use the appropriate amount of corn syrup. The more the corn syrup the harder it's going to be to eat however softer the corn syrup the more pliable it will be. I use one cup of sugar, and a half a cup of corn syrup. Happy Holidays to ALL.

I must make this again. I used an electric skillet, not a thermometer. Turned out great. However, my original recipe did not include “buttered” pan. I poured mine onto wax paper-🤣 Bad idea!!! It was still good, even with wax paper bits in my mouth. Thank you! 💖

I've made it 4 times in the last year. 3 out of 4 times it came out perfect. I rushed it once, and it burned. Slow & steady is the key!

Most of us are not allergic to peanuts. This is a great recipe for those who are not but you can always use walnuts or pecans. Cashews are probably a safe bet since they are not a tree nut. The substitutes are just more expensive.
