Rice Pudding:
3 Cups cooked rice or 1 bag already prepared boil in bag rice2Cups whole milk
3 Eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Pinch of salt
1 small box of raisins, soaked
If not using raisins add 1/2 -1 teaspoon vanilla
For more custard use 3 1/2 cups of whole milk and 5 eggs.
Preheat oven 350F
Butter a 2 quart casserol dish or oven safe dish ( I dont recomend metal. Glass is best)
Whisk eggs. Add sugar whisk again. Add nutmeg and vanilla, if using, and whisk again.
pour in the milk and wisk the whole mess well. Dump in the rice and whisk. Dump the everything into that well battered 2 quart dish.
Place in preheated oven for 45 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Plop a huge helping into a dish and chow down!
