Covering windows with Aluminum Foil is easier, you just tape the top window and unroll down cut it off and tape that tape sides unless your roll isn’t wide then you got to put two rolls on each window. It blocks sun and doesn’t look so tacky . If you put shined side outward it reflects the sun outside like a mirror . Actually is pretty . Room darkening shades and room darking lined dark curtains. The sun bleached pictures hanging , the curtains the blinds, the carpet and the furniture over time - the foil protects your room.
