Aww the metaphor of the heartbox and connecting the heart with the mind is SO GOOD. So accurate. We all know that feeling. I also had feelings for girls growing up that I didn't have the vocabulary to define. It wasn't until college for me too that I fully realized I'm a lesbian

I would love to see how you explain discrimination to her. I'm sure you've already at least started that conversation, but I would love to see how you two handle it. You are very honest, without being inappropriate and I appreciate that. I think all children need these basic societal concepts to them, but I think it is especially important for children who would face more societal obstacles to understand them. Y'all are doing a great job and I'm looking forward to more episodes!

Love you guys so much. People should not need an explanation on what is being gay is. To me why do straight need to explain why they are straight. Thank you though for telling people who are naive about what being gay is. I am a lesbian myself and to explain to people that I like girls the way you like the opposite gender is so hard to get it through a lot of people's heads. Again thank you Ebony and Denise for being a light and for raising your children to be beautiful, wonderful, open minded people. I just love you guys and your family❤🧡💛💚💙💜🏳️🌈

Moms Explain: Being Puerto Rican I would love for mama to let Olivia (and in the future Jayden and Lucas) know about Puerto Rico as many schools in the US do not teach about our island. It'll be nice for her to know about the culture and the food from there. 🇵🇷 Questions could be like: What does it mean to be Puerto Rican? Especially here in America How Puerto Ricans come in different shapes, colors, and sizes Let her know about certain traditions we might have The different privilages we dont have in the island (although we have the same President as the president of the Mainland US, we do not get to vote for our President. Which when hurricane Maria came, Trump did nothing but throw paper towels) How we are slowly growing in Hollywood with people like Bad Bunny, Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Ozuna, Bruno Mars, Victoria Justice, etc... Etc... I said this topic as when I was growing up I was always jealous of mainland Americans and didn't feel comfortable with myself as I was Hispanic, but as I moved to the US I fully got to embrace myself and my culture through my parents support letting me know every culture has it's beautiful traditions.

You guys are awesome and an inspiration to me and my wife. We have two daughters two and four. When they start physically going to school, I'm concerned about the kids that only think it's normal to have a dad and mom. Does Olivia get teased? We are in Jersey and we are hoping that people in this area will be accepting but you know how that goes. Also, how does it work with other parents? It's really hard for us to make friends with other parents because the husbands sometimes act weird and we don't have any lesbian friends. So, socially at school functions and all that jazz, how do you guys cope? Thanks for all the awesome videos, we love your fam! =)
