Thank you so much Victoria , appreciate your lovely feedback and hope you have a beautiful time in Monaco 🥰! For well priced food and drinks in a nice setting I recommend the following : Larvotto area along the beach: La Note Bleu, Miami Plage and Sexy Tacos Condamine area : Norma Italian or Cafe Milano right on the main port and if you’re looking for something a little more high end there’s La Mome which is actually right above the port palace hotel. A little more expensive but outstanding every time with incredible views. There is also the terrace bar in the Fairmont hotel which could be nice for drinks and they also have food menus, although I’ve never eaten there if I’m honest ! There are also lots of cute options along the Fontvieille port - the residential area we saw from above in my video. Here restaurants are more homey and less about the glamour and I love Cozza (Asian), Salière (Italian) and Gerhards cafe (more like an outdoor pub setting with nibbles but great vibe) Hope this helps !

@@Kristinahouwer your video has a very large view count. How does a regular local person like yourself afford to live in a small country full of millionaires? Is the housing not really expensive or is there an affordable area where all of the workers live?
@Kristinahouwer

@@OilBaron100 Rent in Monaco is extremely expensive and the workers usually live just outside of Monaco in France. To get a Monaco residency you need an address in Monaco, at least 500k in the bank or a 'sponsor' who has the above. @@Kristinahouwer Thank you for reposting the link. I have it now and downloaded it for offline viewing. Appreciate the response and advice. Also I heard it’s pretty tough to get residency there. Can you provide some details about that or how you went about it. Thank you 🙏🏻 again.

Awesome ! The only thing that I can’t get the map to do is recognise the seaside walk from Larvotto to the Yacht club as pedestrian as there’s a tunnel involved , but trust me it’s better to take that than the upper route the map wants you to take. But that’s the only thing Google keeps getting wrong. I also made a tweak to the final stop on the map so feel free to click the link again. Residency can be obtained either by having a certain amount in an account here as well as an address or by having a « sponsor » who has those things (so a significant other in most cases). You need to spend over 6 months a year here to keep your residency and to obtain it you first do an online application and then attend an in person interview. I’ve actually helped people get it in the past with things like translations , meetings, filling out forms, sharing contacts of the best real estate agents etc. If that’s something you need assistance with, just email me: kristina@kristinahouwer.com

My heart is for the less fortunate who have no place to live. When I pick up my Bering Yacht in Turkey, I will stop over in Monaco for a few days and see the situation. Maybe I can find a solution that will work !

Thank you. Is December a good time to visit Monaco?
@Kristinahouwer
Ай бұрын
I personally like December as there are much fewer tourists and even though it’s too cold for most beach activities , you can still walk around monaco without the crazy heat, enjoy the Christmas market on the port and get into many restaurants without reservations

I know a lot of people who were born in monaco but didn’t spend as much time here as I did , all comes down to how long one has actually lived there ! Thanks for watching the video 🤩

It’s funny, my mother and I were having this discussion recently. She agrees with you but I personally prefer the new layout, especially as a pedestrian and also because it allows more room for art installations and events when they do them. Thanks so much for watching the video !😃

There are buses from two of the three train station exits. The only one that doesn’t have buses right outside is the exit I showed in the Condamine area.

Thanks for the nice video very informative, But there are a lot of rich people live there but that does not make it a rich country. what does it have few traffic light, no natural resources?

Thanks for watching ! I was talking about wealth per capita in comparison to other countries but if you’re talking about natural resources - that’s a completely different kind of wealth, I agree !

Very beautiful work! It seems like a world we used to have in other places too. I am very much for the so called rules, should be the norm. The exact opposite of what is happening at the American Continent, where drug abuse , homelessness , dirty streets are encouraged and pushed all over, based on inhumane, very poor policies. Keep it up that way so that we have some civilized places left on this planet 🌍 ❤
@Kristinahouwer

Yes I agree , other places that enforce rules less seem to have many more problems in different areas, as you mentioned. There’s definitely a balance that needs to be reached and Monaco is doing a great job so far

Depends what month of the year and what you’d like to do in Monaco aside the hotel ! In peak season the hermitage can be a few thousand a night. In winter it’s around 500 a night
