Thanks, capt! This really helped me a lot. I was wondering, can 132 motors handle 4 IMRs?

Depends on which ones but probably.

Captain Xavier If you're implying what exact motors it would be Worker 132s and if you are referencing the batteries, probably whichever one's you can get off of NFstrike

Is the wiring the same if you choose to use something other than LiPo, like IMRs? In that case, would you just match + to + and - to - on the battery trey? (I have extremely limited knowledge of circuitry, so forgive me if this question seems painfully basic)
@CaptainXavier

+shadowsa2b yes, that would be correct.

Just confirming something here, but is it the same, just with some of the parts are in a different spot for a rayven?
@CaptainXavier

+A J Rodinsky yes. Same goes for: Modulus, Demolisher, Rapid Red, Captain Cassian, Zeus, Athena, Camblaster, and any other semi-automatic flywheel blaster I am forgetting.

Captain x, is it bad to clean nerf guns with alcohol wipes? Will it affect anything if I tried to paint it?
@CaptainXavier

+You Max not that I know of. Just let it dry first.

Do you even clean the blasters you got from good will? If so, how do you do it?
@lakeholly11
7 жыл бұрын
So you mean alcohol wipes are fine to clean blasters?
@CaptainXavier
7 жыл бұрын
+You Max I just wash them with soap and water. Wiping them down the an alcohol wipe that will evaporate in seconds is not going to do any damage. Soaking them overnight in a acetone bath will disolve them completely.

Here is a hint for your modifications: the nerf elite hyper fire has a treadmill like mechanism above the reload clip to push the darts forward into the two powered motors to shoot the darts from the gun. Be sure to add extra edges on each side of the treadmill to push the darts more better. I can tell you more for your next video.
@CaptainXavier
7 жыл бұрын
It is possible as WalcomS7 has already done this. I know...I helped him do it. He did it with Hyperfires. You could also do with the Auto-Stryfes. I do not own any Hyperfires and I do not have any auto-stryfe kits in stock so if I did want to do this, it would have to wait.

How would you hook the wire up to the positive side of the batterie if you are using 3 IMRs
@CaptainXavier

Use 1 dummy battery. They are cheap on Ebay and are basically just a spacer.

@@CaptainXavier another question, would full length darts be better for flywheel blasters? Or are short darts better for flywheels.
@CaptainXavier
Жыл бұрын
@randomdudethatplaysviolaon1903 depends on the blaster. Typically blasters are built for one or the other. Most can't fire both.

What do I need to do if I’m using IMRs
@CaptainXavier
6 жыл бұрын
Can you be more specific? You can run 2 IMRs and 2 Dummy batteries without needing to do anything else to the blaster. It will give a small but noticeable boost. If you want to run 3 or 4 IMR's you are going to need to rewire and upgrade your motors.

nice tutorial but you never mentioned what gauge of wire to use for the mod
@CaptainXavier
7 жыл бұрын
Broken_font that is because that depends on what motors and batteries you use.
@broken_font1881
7 жыл бұрын
Captain Xavier that is very true. Well I plan on using, minimum, a 8.4V/3000mAh NiMH 7 cell battery and eventually step up to a lipo. Ultimately it depends more on the motors because I want to use motors that do not stick out of the shell. What would you say are the highest rpm motors I could use without cutting the stryfe shell and what gauge wire would I need in order to keep the whole thing from bursting into flames?
@CaptainXavier
7 жыл бұрын
+Broken_font rpm is not really the key factor, from what I understand. Past around 32k rpm you get not benefit. From what I hear 18-16g is plenty for any Nerf Application.

@FeuerToifel

sure, but if you have your 5m spool with wire, what does it matter, if you need 20 or 30 cm? and since the desolator has it's batterytray in roughly the same area of the blaster, this guide should be adapted very easily.
