Bought my Mondial 2 days ago...picking up in 10 days...and your review helped me make that decision. I will be doing a review on my channel 'Motors for the Masses' soon too. Thanks for the interest boost!

Great review. I've never had a bike but really want to start riding. Not seen any bikes I liked the look of until I saw this. Now need to get the ball rolling on getting my licence. Thanks again for the review.

Hey Like, great review, great bike. You're right about riding smaller bikes once ridden bigger, they are a scream, so much fun. It's more fun riding a smaller bike at its limits rather than a big 1000 at half it's capabilities. Regularly nick my son's Sinnis Apache as it's more fun being a holigan than ride my Triumph Tiger Sport like an old boy. Keep them coming Luke ;-)

Love your reviews Luke - going to pick mine up this weekend! It'll have L plates as it's my first bike to practice for my test etc but who cares...I'm well-excited! Your chat about chains etc does make me nervous - what's all that about fella? I'm useless with a spanner! Drop some vids re maintenance please so I don't wreck it...

Being a Derbi Mulhacen 125 new owner, I can easily say that these 2 bikes are 70% similar..Even the issues they have. Great video. Keep up the good work.

Nice video, good true review After riding for about 50 years myself, I agree some of the small bikes are great fun , As i can,t ride big bikes anymore (old age etc) I think i would be happy with one myself. Don,t forget ! Have fun But take care out there

Just ordered one also as a bit of a toy for the weekend and occasional commute to work - thought this would be perfect to get some practice in before taking my DAS later in the summer. Sat on it in the shop, has a great solid full size bike feel, loved it - deposit went down the following day! Now I can take my time putting together a classic BMW cafe racer!

Ben Gibb great fun till it was stolen a year ago - I did get my DAS in the end too although not picked up a big bike yet. Took the Mondial on a tour of Northern Europe, didn’t miss a beat. Was a great fun bike although I had to change to a side plate setup as the arrangement it came with was always falling apart.

I am looking for a 125 as a work commuter instead of driving. One that I won't speed/go nuts on, had Varedero 125, Shadow 125, Hyosung GTR 125, 600 Bandit, VTR 1000 Firestorm before and whilst looking for a little run around, saw this in the local dealer and I love the look...no time to test ride yet. Great video....have subscribed! Hope you can too....

Motors for the Masses hey mate, I'm thinking of getting my first 125 .. since u had lot of experience could u tell me about the hyosung experience (that's one I'm looking at) then I see the likes of mondial, bullit hero 125 (scrambler) and I'm confused ! Cheers

The GTR I had was a 2006 bike....plagued with problems. Awesome looking, full size, 600 cc looking bike but the engine kept being starved of fuel if I sat at 55-60 for more than 20 minutes; and 3 times....the dealer could not fix it. I hear the 2017 bikes are better but once bitten...twice shy. Sitting on it...it feels big, 17 litre tank, full frame, fuel injected but not the higher engine. I have heard a 2017 owner had fuel starvation issues too, so I am not convinced they are 100%. The Mondial looks great, feels great...so much so I bought a new one 2 days ago. What turned me towards this is that is has the Aprillia RS4 engine and the bikes are built in the same factory as the RS4. PLUS...anda big plus, it is unique where the GTR looks just like another sports bike.

Saw it at the uk launch at Stonely Park. Looked lovely. Did wonder what real top speed is and if it has enough power to fight against a head wind. My Sinnis Cafe can do 75mph until I hit a headwind which kicks it down to 60mph. I think your on the Facebook group I'm on and I commented on the purchase then. Nice review.

Great review. Very helpful if one´s is trying to convince himself this is the moment to decide to enter in two wheels world. I just love the Mondial Hipster 125 looks. Very cool and retro design and the quality seems very good! What do you think?
@lukesrideouts8513
7 жыл бұрын
roleta301116 if I'm been fair I've owned quite a few bikes from 5k yams to Lexmotos etc. The build quilty is as good if not better then the ktm yamr125. Cbr etc. And it's cheaper. The more I look the more I notice like the swing are is cast there nothing that I look at and they have skimped on. The only things I don't like are the wing mirrors and the bit you hang the number plate on but there a easy fix. Go see one in the flesh mate I don't understand how there making money on them they sould be well over 4K

Many thanks for your answer. I already made contact with the nearest dealer and he told me to wait for his contact because the first three motorcycles he could get were already sold in order to see them in the dealer shop...I think Mondial will raise the price in the coming month due to outstanding looks and quality design. I think I will buy before it happens! ;)

ok I understand better. Difficult to feel the speed on a video ;) In France the testers have taken 120 kph real easily (according to them). Do you think that realistic ?
@lukesrideouts8513

gromousse yes 120kph is 74 mph. I think it will do 75mph but you will Realy have to take it though the revs to get there on the flat. Down hill it easy gets 75mph 120kph
