This is made from still shots taken at The New York Botanical Garden in June 2012. The exhibit entitled "Monet's Garden" is a recreation of the style of plantings Monet chose for his home garden in Giverny, France at the turn of the 20th century. The flowers and colors were the focus of his career at the end of his life.
The background music includes two pieces from Debussy "Préludes" books 1 & 2 by Walter Geiseking. The selections are "Les sons et les parfums tournent dans l'air du soir" and "Des pas sur la neige." The pieces were composed at approximately the same time Monet developed his gardens.
