Got a part time job to pay off approximately $30,000 in CC debt, it has been HARD! But I’ll make my last payment in July, I started last July, so one full year of sacrifice and dedication. For an entire year I passed up on dining out, shopping ,concerts, trips etc… CC debt is crippling and I had to get rid of it, I will now focus on building my emergency fund, then paying off my mortgage, Debt free is the only way to be.

Thank you for such a great comment & congratulations on paying down your debt. And yes, CC debt is crippling. I think most of us have experienced that... and once we get out from under it we know we'll never go back. Thanks again.

I agree with you about freedom and living frugally. For me joy is an inside job. I can be happy with oatmeal & an egg for dinner. I live quite well on my retirement income.

Another great video here. So true on all accounts and words that I have lived by myself. I always remember this quote “Don’t sacrifice what you want most for something you want right now” My wife and I are both retiring at 55 a few months from now after raising 3 kids and living below our means. We don’t owe anything to anyone and you’re right it is so liberating. Thanks again for your insight.

This is the first video I've seen of yours and I like what I see. I'm in my early 50's and I've been debt free for over 10 years now. I agree with 100% of what you say! I live a very frugal life and I am perfectly fine with that. I still work because I choose to and to be honest, I like my job. I always tell people debt free is the key to freedom for their life. Thanks for the video!

I am a new subscriber to your channel Ronnie. I had a $300,000 Ferrari pass me on the way home from work today. Awesome car, but I don't think it would make me happy a month from now. Reaching 60 this July, material things no longer matter to me. It is "financial freedom." Keep up the great work with the videos!

I look forward to your videos weekly, you have such a calm demeanor. Everything you have said is spot on. I used to be the spender and now I’m more frugal than my husband 😂😂 It took me a little bit to get on the band wagon but I’m so glad I’m on!

Debt free = freedom!!! I can’t believe I didn’t see this in my twenties! I would be debt free by now. Start saving young as you need time to accumulate money. I didn’t realise that it takes years to do! I can’t wait to pay the mortgage off!!! I can see the freedom awaiting me! Thanks for sharing

Thank you for your video and wisdom. I'm 30 and would rather watch videos from adults who remember the recession than people my age who don't know anything about real life. Newly subscribed! Thanks so much! 🩷
