This "train" was originally planned for reactivated rural railways, not for city traffic like it's told in this short documentary. You can hear that in many videos on the Monocab OWL KZitem channel.

A monorail that still needs a second rail for balance. 😅 I've just watched a review for a new innovative smart product that makes this product obsolete. It can be summoned by simply raising your arm. It's called the tram.

@@gadgetxplorerInnovation always starts with "We invented/made this, and it solves that problem". What problem does proposed texhnology solve? It's as complex and expensive to build as a railway, is about as inefficient as a car and demans full self-driving(because you have to use rail switches instead of just turning whenever you like). You do not get any space/efficieny advantage over normal rail, because these pods are individual, while also being as inefficient as a car, because each pod has to cary it's own motors and battery(and also gyros to stay upright). Also look up minimal rail bending radius and try to fit it inside any city highway and find out that probably 99% of cities cannot use this "as an alternative to car", simply because rails cannot bend like that. And I won't even ask how on Earth will a intersection or a junction with slopes will finction. Let me remind: every rail crossing or split needs a dedicated switch and it's circuit(and as it turns our, trains can't climb gradients like cars, so drastic slopes are not possible)

I personally appreciated the level of knowledge you have, but innovation first look like idiotic concept then once available in practical it's solve many problem.

Many things: The enormous accelerating and stopping distance. The huge turning radius. The necessity for hundreds of people to travel the same route and stop at every station. The huge upfront investment. The need for a centrally coordinated and pre-scheduled signalling system. The potential for catastrophic collisions. Trains are perfect for some routes. And they won't be superseded for quite some time. But let's not conclude that they are flawless and no technological innovation is ever possible.

@@andybrice2711 Trains are mass transportation systems, rendering many of the aforementioned points irrelevant. Given that transportation significantly contributes to pollution and carbon emissions, a mass transit system emerges as the sole viable solution for urban areas. While smaller trains such as trams can be utilized, innovation is imperative. This could entail the adoption of bullet trains or the development of novel technologies like hydrogen-powered trains. Individual transportation methods are neither practical nor sustainable; instead, bike lanes should be implemented. Non-motorized transport (NMT) options or shared cab services are preferable for last-mile connectivity. Private cars and initiatives like Hyperloop are ineffective solutions for alleviating traffic congestion and pollution.
