I am enjoying your videos, I'm learning so Howdy hi and I hope to visit often. My essential goal is to learn to work at home, which I explained in another one of your videos I think. I'm time your group will expand and I'll share your video too. If be so cool to have a group of people all collaborating and helping each other get started, make a living, & help others. I don't need to make millions, I want to be happy and support myself and build something I can give my adult kids when we want to retire.

No I never noticed that. Audio is not something I’m very good at, I’ll have to look into that. I’m not sure if it’s my mic setup or what. Thanks a lot.

I think it’s a setting in my editing software. When I work on my video this weekend I’ll look into it.

Hey Brett, thanks for the info. How does fiber compare to UV ? Would like to know your thoughts.

Basically fibers and UVs operate on different wavelengths so they will act differently on various materials. Generally fibers are going to be much better at deep engravings on metals and UVs excel at marking glass. There’s a lot more to it but hope this helps.

My husband & I had surgeries this past year and we can'tgo back to heavy labor jobs. We are looking for something to work from home. Can you really start your own home business with 1 laser & is a 10w a good starter for a newbie wanting to work at home? What laser is best for starting out & is it affordable? What projects are good starters?

It totally depends on what your expectations are and how much effort you put into it. So that’s a really tough question to answer. I would say generally any diode laser get though is going to be in the side hustle scope of work though. But it is definitely a good place to start

hey Brett, I have a question for you. i picked up a 5w longer laser at a yard sale for 40 bucks about 5 months ago, i don't know crap about it I just know I always wanted to learn and have one to make things for the holidays for friends and family, it works ok being new to me I'm just not really sure of its performing as it should so I want a new one I'm now hooked lol ,what would be a great laser would you recommend for someone on a very limited budget ? thanks for any advice 🤔

That's a tough question, really depends on what your budget is and what you intend to do/make and whether it's a hobby or potential business. I got started with diode lasers personally and found them to be a great gateway into the craft. 20w diodes are available from a bunch of different brands now for under $1000 with safety enclosures. I'd probably start there. With those you'll be able to make nice engravings plus be able to cut 1/8" wood no problem. Hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions
