@@bgjb-r1499 Simply because one has a different set of strengths, does not make that one smarter...just different. Using your logic, the human who kills another human, is smarter than the one killed. That is not correct. Orca pods will kill a grey whale calf, by first, separating it from the mother. Does that make the orca smarter than the grey whale? Of course not...a different way of thinking, yes, but smarter, no. The tiger is limited to a solitary life, because it was built to kill, and would do the same with it's own kind, even it's own family...how is that smarter? A grizzly will do the same thing, and cannot be trusted around cubs. Tiger & Grizzly are similar thinkers, with different attributes, and the animals they kill, have different skills & behaviors. Except for mothers (in 2-3 yr period) Tigers & Grizzly will not protect others of it's kind. Do you really call that, smarter? Neither is smarter than the other...just different sets of strengths & weaknesses.. One, is built to kill, the other, not to be killed.

Don’t care what you say about the strength of Elephants, a 1 ton croc biting it’s nose isn’t going to be a painless experience. Great video.

what gave it away that it was a painful experience, the wailing cry of the juvenile elephant that could be heard for miles?
@3tz71ji

An elephant stepping on a croc won't be painful because something dead can't feel. A simple step from a 13,000 lb elephant will be way more than 1 ton. An elephant can kill a croc just by merely stepping on it.

There is an ancient legend that says the elephant used to have a short nose. But it became a long trunk when a croc grabbed it one day and the elephant kept pulling it until the croc let go. The nose had stretched out to become a trunk!
