Stallions with MANNERS!! I love it. Most people wont use studs for anything but breeding, simply cuz they can be pushy, nippy, and general jerks, but obviously that CAN and SHOULD be trained and taught out of them! Keep up your awesome work. 😁🥰

@@wade4452 yes, actually. I have 2 mares in training to correct that exact problem right now, and have worked with more than I can count over the years. Any horse can learn good or bad behavior, it all depends on the handler & their abilities to teach and lead the herd of 2. You lead at all times, or the horse will take over, regardless of gender. I've also had geldings with bad attitudes. It is mostly learned behaviors that can be unlearned & corrected.

@@MsLadyhorse Absolutely. I was really just kidding with you. Yes, the first sign of that is that moment attention turns from away from you, to you. And what always excites me is that first walk away that the horse follows me. Thank you for the response. I was just being hard headed becouse you gal's were talking about the stud horses behavior. In good spirit of course:) Blessings.

I worked at a higher end stable with a few stations as a young girl. A few were....mental. But one I absolutely loved 🥰. His name was HB Cool Cat and he was a Grullio (gray with a darker gray stripe on his back and dark stripes on his legs) Registered Quarter-horse. He was also a sweetly and Gentleman. You ALWAYS need to treat studs with respect. But he was polite when I cleaned his stall (could do it with him in there). Afterwards I would spent a minuet or two when finished and scratch his back and shoulders. He would gently nibble at my back to groom me at the same time. Owner was impressed and saw I was responsible while doing so. This was over 20 years ago, but I still remember him. He was a girls dream stallion. Beautiful, smart, and very sweet. A few new people thought he was a mellow gelding😅.
