The Monterey Bay Aquarium reopens on July 13! Before then, see the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s marine life through my VR lens in this 10-minute unguided tour, giving you enough time to stop and watch feeding time with the penguins, see the otters swim by, a massive school of fish, crustaceans, sea anemones, jellyfish, and birds! The tour ends with a quick stop at Cannery Row with a peak at the shops, Cannery Row Monument featuring author John Steinbeck and others part of Monterey Bay’s history, and a look out at the ocean. This video is best viewed at 4K. (Seriously, it's unfortunate how low the resolution is even in HD.)
You can explore the video by dragging your cursor on your computer screen, by viewing it on your phone in landscape mode and moving left, right, up, and down, and by viewing it in a VR headset like the Oculus or HTC Vive headsets.
This video was filmed in the summer of 2019 and is just a very short look into the many amazing exhibits showcasing life at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
